NFS: Most Wanted makes it to your phone

From the team behind the superb Real Racing series comes Need For Speed: Most Wanted. The game looks stellar. A couple of years back gaming on mobiles seemed lika an afterthought but Most Wanted shows how far we've come in so little time.

From puddles on the street to the paint job on your car, the attention to detail is fantastic. Throw in EA's trademark production values what with smart looking icons and great music and you have something to keep playing while you're away from your PC or console, if not replace it completely.
Nonetheless, Most Wanted is not just a pretty face. It's got the racing chops to go with it. The game handles acceleration automatically. That leaves you with the responsibility of drifting, breaking and using nitrous to speed past your opponents.
By default you're granted control of your car by tilting the screen. While other games usually mess this up, Most Wanted speeds off in the opposite direction. This is by far one of the best implementations of tilt control in a game. It just works flawlessly. Sure you can use virtual buttons but you'll just go back to tilting in a jiffy.
The game itself is broken down into small races that don't last more than a few minutes, apt for short bursts of gaming goodness. As you'd except with a game bearing the Most Wanted moniker, police cars make themselves felt even as you're leading in races across the city of Fairhaven.
Also there are leader boards and you can challenge your friends to best your lap times as well, a decent addition though online multiplayer would be nice.
So if you're lookibg for some bite-seized gaming fun, Most Wanted is well worth the price of admission. Regardless of your platform of choice you're treated to a rather enjoyable racer.
